Инструментализация прошлого в современной политике исторической памяти в Латвии

Аннотация

Цель исследования – анализ инструментализации истории как элемента политической культуры, используемого для легитимации элит и консолидации идентичности. Новизна подхода связана с изучением актуального этапа в развитии исторической политики Латвии. Показано, что интеллектуальное сообщество Латвии вносит второстепенный вклад в трансформацию мемориальной культуры, основными же агентами исторической политики стали представители элит, чье утилитарное понимание прошлого стимулирует политически и идеологически мотивированное использование истории, которая интегрирована в пространство политической культуры и националистический дискурс.
