The emblem of the conference "Ethnicities and Flora: Plants, People, Traditions" - leaves of three plants - fireweed, Kuril tea and Chinese camellia (tea), inside which traditional ornaments are depicted, symbolizes three ethnic groups inhabiting the Amur Region: Russians, Evenks and Chinese. To acquaint the conference participants with the use of local plants by these peoples was one of the practical tasks of the conference.
