The paper considers problems of global climate change, new challenges and threats provoked by it are shown in the case of Vietnam. It is also explained the necessity of revising the existing and well-established policy of resettlement of the population throughout the country. The necessity is determined by particular geographical location, topography of the country and its demographic potential. The authors call for the development of a new concept of migration policy of Vietnam, aimed at the resettlement of the population of potentially dangerous locations, primarily from the coastal areas. The question of the place of Russia in this policy is raised too.
В статье рассматриваются проблемы глобального изменения климата на примере Вьетнама, показаны порождаемые им новые вызовы и угрозы. Обоснована необходимость пересмотра сложившейся и устоявшейся политики расселения населения по территории страны, исходящей из особенности географического положения, рельефа территории страны и ее демографического потенциала. Авторы призывают к разработке уже в среднесрочной перспективе новой концепции миграционной политики Вьетнама, направленной на переселение населения из потенциально опасных мест проживания, в первую очередь прибрежных районов. Поставлен вопрос о месте России в этой политике.
