As a result of the Doi moi policy proclaimed by the Vietnamese Commmunist Party in 1986 the renovation of the Vietnamese literature also began. The writer Nguyen Huy Thiep became its symbol. In his short stories he created a unique literary world for which folklorizm is characteristic, it means that the writer often uses folk genres (songs, legends, myths, fairy tales, etc.) or their specific attributes. The place and role of folklore in Nguyen Huy Thiep's short stories are in the focus of this paper.
Вслед за политикой обновления, провозглашенной КПВ в 1986 г., свое обновление началось и во вьетнамской литературе. Знаковой фигурой его стал Нгуен Хюи Тхиеп (род. в 1950 г.). В своих рассказах писатель создал цельный и узнаваемый художественный мир, одной из особенностей которого является фольклоризм, т.е. использование фольклорных жанров (песен, преданий, быличек, мифологических рассказов и т.п.) или их специфических свойств в литературных произведениях. Месту и роли фольклора в рассказах Нгуен Хюи Тхиепа и посвящена данная статья.
