Research works have demonstrated that the proportion of women holding the top management positions remains low, although their proportion in the political system has increased generally. As shown by research findings, there are several factors impacting on women’s political participation including institutional settings, gender biases under cultural influences, family responsibilities and gender related characteristics.</p>
К ним относятся факторы, связанные с государственной политикой и службой; факторы, связанные с кадровой работой; факторы, связанные с барьерами, вытекающими из культурных норм; факторы, связанные с барьерами, возникающими в семье; и факторы, связанные с барьерами, обусловленными личностными характеристиками.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>women’s political participation</kwd><kwd>female leadership</kwd><kwd>policy</kwd><kwd>politics</kwd><kwd>gender equality in politics</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>женщина</kwd><kwd>участие женщин в политической жизни</kwd><kwd>руководящие роли женщин</kwd><kwd>политика</kwd><kwd>политическая деятельность</kwd><kwd>гендерное равенство в политике</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Bulloch, A., Kroeck, G., Kundu, S., Newhouse, W. &amp; Lowe, K.
