The article presents an analysis of the main characteristics of the pharmaceutical industry in Vietnam. Particular attention is paid to the study of Vietnamese public policy, national priorities, strategies and road maps aimed at stimulating and supporting the development of the pharmaceutical industry in the context of integration into the global economy. It is shown that the industrial policy implemented by Vietnam has created conditions for the modernization of the pharmaceutical industry, including through international cooperation and attracting foreign investment. Currently, the country has formed economic conditions and the necessary infrastructure for doing business by foreign pharmaceutical companies. As a result of the reforms, the pharmaceutical sector of Vietnam has become more accessible to foreign companies. Foreign trade turnover of pharmaceutical products shows steady growth. The pharmaceutical industries of Russia and Vietnam interact with each other: Russian pharmaceutical companies have opened their representative offices and supply high-tech drugs to the Vietnamese market.

В статье представлен анализ основных характеристик фармацевтической промышленности Вьетнама. Особое внимание уделено исследованию государственной политики, национальных приоритетов, стратегий и планов (дорожных карт), направленных на стимулирование и поддержку фармацевтической отрасли в условиях интеграции в мировую экономику. Показано, что реализуемая СРВ промышленная политика позволила создать условия для модернизации фармацевтической отрасли, в том числе благодаря международному сотрудничеству и привлечению иностранных инвестиций. В стране сформированы экономические условия и необходимая инфраструктура для ведения бизнеса иностранными фармкомпаниями: внешнеторговый оборот фармацевтических товаров демонстрирует уверенный рост. В статье также рассматривается активное российско-вьетнамское сотрудничество в фармацевтической сфере, в том числе в области высоких технологий.
