The paper presents the results of a study of the effect of exogenous HOCl/OCl– in micromolar concentrations on the mechanisms of the “respiratory burst” formation by neutrophils stimulated to phagocytosis. It is shown that this oxidizer is capable of stimulating the functional activity of neutrophils, which is expressed in an increase in the yield of reactive oxygen and chlorine species (ROСS) and secretory degranulation of cells. Enhancement of the “respiratory burst” is associated with activation of NADPH oxidase, PI-3K, MAP kinase ERK1/2 and a decrease in the contribution of intracellular myeloperoxidase to ROСS production by neutrophils. It was found that HOCl/OCl– in the studied concentrations is capable of inhibiting myeloperoxidase activity. It is suggested that hypochlorous acid should be considered as a new potential secondary messenger regulating neutrophil functions.</p>
Сделано предположение, что хлорноватистую кислоту следует рассматривать в качестве нового потенциального вторичного мессенджера, регулирующего функции нейтрофилов.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>hypochlorous acid</kwd><kwd>NaOCl</kwd><kwd>neutrophils</kwd><kwd>reactive oxygen and chlorine species</kwd><kwd>myeloperoxidase</kwd><kwd>secretory degranulation</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>нейтрофилы</kwd><kwd>хлорноватистая кислота</kwd><kwd>NaOCl</kwd><kwd>активные формы кислорода и хлора</kwd><kwd>миелопероксидаза</kwd><kwd>секреторная дегрануляция</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Правительство Республики Беларусь</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">Government of the Republic of Belarus</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source><award-id>20115801</award-id></award-group></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Мурина М. И. 1989.
